CREATIVE PLANNING
Next is your creative planning meeting. This is where Amy comes with buckets of ideas designed with your senior's style and personality. Amy will help you select your location(s), chat about outfits and pick your senior experience session date.
THE SESSION AND ARTWORK
During your session Amy will direct you look your best, pose you, even tell you dumb jokes so you relax. Then, you will get together a week or two later in the showroom and select your favorite poses and artwork to be displayed as wall art, albums and gifts that last a lifetime.
My student really doesn't like photos.
So many people come to Amy with this same feeling. They feel awkward, never know how to pose, their smile is forced. They just do not care for how they look in photos. This is why she has set up a process where she gets to know your senior, they are involved in creating their session. Whether they want to keep it minimal, or create something different from anyone else. Amy listens and then creates.
Well, because this is the chance we get to tell the story of you. Of who you are right now. This is a major milestone and turning point in your life. You have worked so hard to get to this place (just think 12 or more years of school!) We want to celebrate this accomplishment in portraits.
Something that marks this time in your life. What I have discovered, especially for students who are uncomfortable in front of the camera, is that they then are beaming when they see their portraits. Because we took the time to really design their session around who they are.
Time and again I have had students, especially the guys tell me they have never liked photos of themselves in the past, but the love these artistic portraits we created.
