With a degree in Graphic Communications and Design and years as a professional art director, I bring a creative eye that goes far beyond standard portrait photography. Every session is thoughtfully planned with attention to color, composition, location, and light. The result is artwork that looks like it belongs in a magazine, not a mall studio.
A Relaxed Experience
I know that getting the whole family together for photos can feel stressful, especially with young children. That is why I guide you through every step. From wardrobe selection to posing, I direct the entire session so you can relax and be present with your family. My goal is for you to actually enjoy the experience, not just survive it.

I do not hand you a USB drive and wish you luck. I design and produce museum-quality wall art, designer albums, and curated gift collections that are ready to display in your home. Consultation
We start with a conversation, either by phone or at my Grover Beach studio. I learn about your family, your style, and the spaces in your home where you envision artwork. Together we plan the perfect session, including location, wardrobe guidance, and a creative direction that reflects who you are.

Creative Session
On session day, I guide your family through a relaxed portrait experience at the location we have chosen together. Whether we are on the beach in Pismo, among the oaks in SLO, or in the studio, I direct every pose and capture genuine connections. Sessions typically last one to two hours with plenty of room to breathe.

Artwork Selection
About two to three weeks later, you return to the studio for the big reveal. You will see your beautifully edited images for the first time and together we will select your favorites and design custom artwork for your home. I offer wall art, albums, and gift collections so every image finds its perfect home.

What to Expect at Your Family Session
I want you to walk into your session feeling confident and excited, not anxious. Here is what a typical family photography experience looks like so there are no surprises.
- Sessions typically last one to two hours, depending on the number of groupings and the ages of your children
- We can photograph outdoors at one of the Central Coast's stunning locations or at my professional studio in Grover Beach
- I provide detailed wardrobe guidance and a style consultation before your session so you feel prepared and polished
- I direct every pose and expression, so nobody has to wonder what to do with their hands
- We photograph multiple groupings including the whole family, parents together, siblings, individual portraits, and extended family if they are joining
- Young children are welcome to take breaks, have snacks, and play between setups
